One of the coolest popups you can find! The fries were crispy, the burger was made with a juicy patty topped with onions on a fluffy bun. THis whole establishment is beautiful and shaped like a classic LOs Angeles food truck. Definitely a must try!

Have had Bored & Hungry, as a brand, on my radar for the better part of the past year. Finally had the chance to try it May 4, 2023 at its new location right on Hollywood Blvd and the Star Walk of Fame. They have a cozy embankment out of Iris Theatre at the intersection of Hollywood Blvd and Wilcox Ave (street parking on Wilcox!), with a pretty fun & attractive interior design. I enjoy that they keep the iconic "food truck" aesthetic: paying homage to the Southern Californian food truck phenomena that forever-changed SoCal's food entrepreneurial scene over the last decade+. Inside the Bored & Hungry, there are street-food tables set up in front of the Hollywood-esque "food truck" wall, where you go to place orders. There are lights, bright colors, and a fun, themed menu. LA has its fair share of to-standard smash-burgers, so competition is indeed very real; and because of this, I went in assuming the unlikeliness this would "wow." "Of course this is IP-driven, so if the food isn't its selling point, I'd understand," I thought. Let me just say: WOW. I was shocked. It's the small details intentionally spun into the menu that make the food here; let me explain: - pepper on the fries: small twist, big difference, and I don't have to add pepper on myself - Fries texture is: yessir. Crispy exterior, potatoey interior, and the right size to trigger uncontrollable consumption: snack size. I found myself ravaging the fries more than I generally do, because of their size and palatability. - Burgers win on two things. ---all else competitive with other great smashburgers, these burgers have two competitive advantages: a. an incredible bun. the perfect soft bun, melts with the perfectly-prepared patty, onions, and cheese, to create a mouth-watering symbiotic eating experience. b. pickles. Smashburgers generally don't have pickles. IF you're not a pickle person, just omit them when you order, but if you're a pickle person, you're gonna know what I mean here when I say it's the add-on to a smashburger that really cuts-into and balances out the pungent intensity of meat+cheese. I was just thinking a month ago how difficult it was to find a great burger in LA that isn't unhealthily greasy yet still decadent. It's easy to find one or the other, but finally, thanks to Bored & Hungry Hollywood, LA now has a burger that has the best of both worlds.

Simply the best burger in Socal. Even the vegan option is incredible. Don't miss the fries and definitely dont miss the exclusive merchandise!!!

Love that they've got a new location in Hollywood! The not so secret secret is Bored N Hungry serves Trill Burgers. The double patty smash burger is awesome when paired with the soft bun. If you get there earlier in the evening there's plenty of meter parking on the side streets. Enough to grab, eat and go. Food comes out fast and I would definitely get the combo because the fries are nicely seasoned.

Great customer service, cool ambiance, located inside The Fox theater. Delicious smashed burgers, and they also offer vegan options.
